Garuda Orient Holidays was founded in 1981 by our parent company, Garuda Indonesia to ensure Bali is always offered as an affordable, great value holiday destination for Aussies and Kiwis, and now, via this website, to you, wherever you are from!
Our Head Office is in Sydney, Australia, but we also have offices in Perth and Auckland NZ.
Most importantly, Garuda Orient Holidays has an office in Bali, staffed by friendly, professional, English speaking Balinese. They are there to ensure your holiday runs smoothly. If you are not happy with your hotel choice, or need any advice simply give them a call - they are there to help!
We are a fully licensed Tour Wholesale Company, not just a hotel booking website, so you are guaranteed full service and support when on your holiday in Bali, or elsewhere in Indonesia.
Although all our prices are quoted in Australian Dollars, we welcome visitors from all over the world.You can book and prepay most Bali hotels and resorts right here on this site, with a confirmation voucher sent directly to your nominated email address.Use our currency converters to get an approximate price in your local currency. Billings will appear in Australian Dollars on your credit card statement.
We also have a unique relationship with Garuda Indonesia, which means that no matter what city you are in, your travel agent can call the local Garuda Indonesia Sales Department in Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney for support.
Our heart is in Bali, with the largest brochure and widest range of hotels, resorts, tours and activities, our commitment is to representing as many Bali hotels as possible, not just the huge multi-national chains. This does not mean we will feature just any hotel, our National Product Manager and our Bali Office Manager regularly check the hotels to ensure they are being properly maintained, if not then we are quick to stop selling that hotel and inform your travel agent if you are already booked in there.
We also support other areas of Indonesia. With such a diverse culture and environment, we believe it is our duty to give you access to more of Indonesia. This has the added benefit of supporting local communities. We also support the Australian Orang-Utan Project which is leading the fight to protect these majestic creatures, with our tour giving you unprecedented access to the research facility and rehabilitation areas in Central Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo).
