Garuda Indonesia is the national airline of Indonesia, and has been flying Australians to Indonesia for over 40 years.
Garuda is a full service network carrier serving 28 domestic and 18 international destinations with hubs in Jakarta and Denpasar, Bali.
In July 2009, the airline unveiled a new aircraft fleet, new in-flight product, new service concept and a fresh corporate identity to mark the start of it's transformation into one of Asia's most succesful and profitable airlines. In December 2009, the airline was also upgraded to a four-star rating by Skytrax, the global benchmark for airline service standards, confirming the improvement in it's front-line product and service quality.

Garuda Indonesia serve Australia with three types of aircraft:
- A330-300 operates from both Sydney & Melbourne to Denpasar, Bali
- A330-200 operates from both Sydney & Melbourne to Jakarta
- B737-800NG operates from Perth to Denpasar, Bali & Jakarta
