Visas & Passports

Visa Information

Visa and other entry and exit conditions (such as customs and quarantine regulations) change regularly. Contact your nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate for the most up-to-date information.

You should ensure you have the correct, current visa at all times, otherwise you may be fined, jailed, deported or banned from re-entering Indonesia for a period of time.

Visitors may be granted a 30 day visa on arrival for a fee of USD25. Both visas are non-extendable and non-transferable. The period of stay for visas is calculated from the day of arrival. Fines are imposed for each additional day in Indonesia.

For further information see http://protocol.dfat.gov.au/Default/view.rails for Australian Citizens.

For citizens of all other countries please contact your closest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate.

Passport Information

All travellers should be aware that a valid passport is required for travelling overseas.

Your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from your date of arrival to enter Indonesia.

You will be denied boarding at checkin for your flight to Indonesia, or refused entry at Indonesian Immigration upon arrival if you are arriving with less than this.

Further information on Passports & Visas can be found on your local DFAT Government website.

For citizens of all other countries please contact your local Passport office.
